We began our grass roots efforts in 2002 and formed SongWritersFestival.com in anticipation of our first festival at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in June of 2003.
Since then we have helped bring together thousands of music people from all walks of life from all over the world. We are all about helping songwriters advance their craft and creating networking and exposure opportunities.

The Festival location is now in Nashville, inside the hub of Music City, which seem to be a natural fit. Holding the Festival on Music Row is more convenient for the process of allowing songwriters and industry to merge.

Our philosophy of not being a talent search, contest, or competition brings everyone together in a relaxed and honest environment. We extol what is good about the business of music, in a spiritual, idealistic sense. Open to all, we are a place where all can gather, from the novice to pro. We would not have made it this far without the contributions of many "Fest Heads" and well wishers. We are the "Read Deal!"

As we continue to grow and develop new projects to promote songwriters, we humble ourselves and salute your efforts. We look forward to answering your questions, giving references, providing information and offering our take on the music scene.
