Stage Mechanics:
On stage, registered
performing writers can play solo, duo or with other registered
writers to
get your message out. Their will be 4 mics and 4 plug ins.
The stages are designed to plug and play.
Each stage will have a
sound man. Small band units are welcome. If you must have percussion, you have only one mic. Use bongos, brushes on a suit case, single snare, etc. (get quick and creative.) No drum kits, special amps or effects, etc. The fest is more about the song and the writer. The play schedule will be posted at the end of May. There are multiple stages located directly on Music Row. Indoor and outdoor. |

Performance Specifics:
|
Everybody has their own style and creative process.... So you may....personally
perform solo playing an instrument or.... have a friend play for
you while you sing or.....have someone else perform an original
song, (that you wrote 0r....sing it acapella or....give a
reading of your lyrics or.... sing to your own tracks. The
choice is yours. The Fest is open to all forms of songwriting and genres of music. It's more about the song and the writer. We are not American Idol or Star Search. Come to be yourself, relax and get back to that first feeling of why you ever wanted to write. |
